I just purchased a portable gas grill. Do I need to use briquettes with it, or should I use it as-is?
My grill is an Australian soldier of fortune, and a portable gas grill. I want to use it tonight, but do not know if I would be adding bricks down. There is no chimney to put on the packs, if they were necessary, they would be placed under the burner.
In the instructions supplied with your grill, it would pull the plug on you if you needed briquettes. No, because you have a gas grill briquettes are not needed, so it is a gas grill.
