I have a vertical smoker with a water pan. How long should I smoke a 1lb. Pork Tenderloin?
A net book is so small. And a net doesn't have generally fat needed to smoke. You should get a cut tough going. (Shoulder) But if you go to smoke the tenderloin, I would say at least 4-5 hours.

Finches are fun and easy to keep as pets
Q: My 12-year-old daughter wants a pet bird. Can you tout what kind? Something that's not too hard to care for, please.
A: Zebra and society finches are the "tranquilly keepers" of the finch group — hardy little guys who'll create energy and sound into your home.
They're not very expensive to acquire, set up or maintain. Opposite from hookbills — budgies, cockatiels and parrots — who require and desire physical interaction, finches will be happiest if you leave them alone. That's de facto the only downside of having them as a children's pet, by the way: They're not the best choice for a child who wants a hands-on pet trial.
Since finches, unlike other pet birds, are generally always left in their cages, they're a reliable option for a multiple-pet household. (In most cases, the cage will offer refuge from cats.) Still, since predatory pets can be resourceful, you should probably keep finches in a cell that you can close off when you're not around to supervise.
